Not every job needs a specialist. Hanging shelves, patching drywall, fixing a sticking door, assembling furniture, or working through a list of small repairs that have been piling up are the kind of jobs a general handyman handles well. It's usually the right call for anything that's more than a DIY weekend project but doesn't rise to the level of a licensed trade.
